The “So What” of this site

I’ve always been a bit of a tinkerer and maker. I had a tool box with tools for woodworking, auto repair, and electronics before I was 10. I was also taught how to lay out a fabric pattern, use fabric shears, and sew together clothes and other fabric crafts. I learned how to crochet and knit, and promptly forgot how. I was encouraged to explore books, magazines, and eventually websites that showed how to make and do things. This is my way of giving back to the community, and see if we can have fun MakingStuff!
